Andrey Mikhailovich Danilko (Ukrainian: Andriy Mikhailovich Danilko) (born October 2, 1973 in Poltava, Ukraine), better known as his dramatic character Verka Serduchka (Ukrainian: Vєrka Serduchka), is a Ukrainian comedian and singer. In the role of Serduchka, he represented Ukraine at Eurovision 2007 and took second place. In her career, Serduchka has sold over 600, 000 records in Ukraine. The most popular image of the conductor Verka Serdyuchka, whose monologues are so fond of the viewer, are now remembered by a huge number of people who do not cease to believe in the possible return of the image to the stage in its former form.

During his studies, he studied at the theater studio "Grotesque". After leaving school, he tried to enter a music college and institute, but did not pass. He entered a professional technical college where he studied the profession of "food cashiers". From 1991 to 1992 he worked as a cashier in a store, but performed nonetheless. In the spring of 1992, for the first time, he showed two short pieces: "Dining room" and Verka Serduchka Train conductor ". The official date of birth of Verka Serduchka is March 8, 1993, when at the Yumorina festival in Poltava, the performance “The Conductor” was shown, portraying an ordinary Ukrainian woman acting as a conductor. He again tried to enter a music college, but again failed, so he decided to start a "career" with his own mini-theater, showing Verka Serduchka's numbers and performing parodies of famous Russian stars: Allegrov, Pugachev and Kazachenko.

In 1995, he finally entered the circus-variety college, but he finished only 2 years out of 5, he left and was admitted to the Institute of Culture.

In 1997 he recorded his first songs "Prosto Vera", "Abrikosy". Later he produced “I was born to love”, “I went to the platform”, “Vase and peony”, “Controller”, “Po chut-chut” and some recordings of some music videos. He received an invitation to show a TV show on the Ukrainian channel "1 + 1" under the name "SV-show", where he again portrayed the conductor Verka Serduchka. Since autumn 1998, the show has been broadcast simultaneously on the Russian TV-6 channel. This show brought immense popularity to the comic artist.

He released music albums as Verka Serduchka "Ha-ra-sho!", "Wanted a Groom", "Best", "Unpublished", "Tralli-Valley", as well as the installation album "After You" in the role of Danilko. He took part in various musicals of the Russian-Ukrainian joint production, mainly Verka Serduchka, but in Figaro, as Andriy Danilko. Created a solo musical entitled The Story of Verka Serduchka.
